In a traditional wedding, sarees are very much in fashion in India. Today in wedding ceremonies, women like to wear saris in different styles. Fashion designers are inventing new ways to wrap Indian wedding sarees, which have become fairly popular among modern women.

Indian Sari always had an elegant and luxurious look at the same time. In India the Bridal sari or wedding sari is given a lot of importance. Indian Sari come in different fabrics ranging from silk to cotton, from crapes to Georgette, from traditional like Kanjeevaram to Banarasi or a silk.

In Indian families, bridal Sarees are given a lot of highlighting. It varies from few thousands to few lakhs of rupees.

They come in different styles and varieties. Zardosi, zari, sequence, embroidery, organza, cut work, patchwork, mirror work, pearl work, kasab, kundan, are all varied types of work, which are offered in sari. Earlier it was compulsory for Indian brides to be dressed in heavy Benarasi sari on the wedding day but now it is not so but still the brides to like better wear saris for their wedding.
